| Markus is a project manager, as well as a circular economy expert and enthusiast. His main focus is on strategy and transformation consulting in the field of sustainability and circular economy as well as in the development of sustainable and circular business models. He has many years of experience in strategic and operational issues relating to sustainability and the circular economy – including in the process, chemical and automotive industries. For several years, he led the evaluation team for the German Sustainability Award’s Company Award and Next Economy Award and prepared them for the jury. In addition to his work, Markus Plack volunteers with Circularity e.V. to network various stakeholders in Germany in order to accelerate the change to a circular economy. He studied physics and nanostructure technology in Würzburg, worked in strategic research at Evonik and completed an MBA at the Collège des Ingénieurs in Paris. |
