Meike is a senior consultant, facilitator and author. In these roles, she works with clients to develop and expand strategy and management of sustainability, stakeholder engagement, integrated communication and reporting on non-financial information. Meike Frese is the co-founder and managing partner of Fährmann Unternehmensberatung GmbH (Fährmann Business Consultancy GmbH) based in Munich and Cologne, with a focus on strategy, management and communication on sustainability and value-based corporate governance and culture. In her consulting and facilitation work on sustainability strategies, she designs tailor-made sustainability management structures to usher in the “next level of sustainability” by way of impactful and participatory collaboration. She is active as a coach and sparring partner for sustainability officers and conceptualizes integrated communication concepts. She works with standards-based sustainability and integrated reports (GRI, DNK, CSR-RUG, CSRD, SASB, IIRC), materiality analyses and stakeholder dialogues. Her background includes a foundation in the humanities (literature, semiotics, philosophy of science), language expertise (translations, editing), an MBA in Sustainability Management from Leuphana University Lüneburg and relevant practical experience in corporate sustainability management. She is a volunteer in the field of personal development and teaches Lindy Hop and Swing dance. |
